National Primary Care Mental Health Collaborative
The National Primary Care Mental Health Collaborative was a two-year programme aimed at improving the care of working age adults with common health disorders. The programme was supported by a range of organisations including WiPP and the Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health. Lesley Callow, based at the Improvement Foundation in Manchester was programme director.
A total of 19 PCT sites were recruited to take part in this 2-year programme (Feb 2006 - Feb 2008). The collaborative also engaged 83 GP practices and over 400 GPs.
WiPP formally completed its work on 30th June 2008. This site will remain live until March 2009.
