The Database of Good Practice - Review criteria
back to database | Steering Group
Applications for inclusion in the Working in Partnership Programme Good Practice project were subjected to a rigorous process to demonstrate that their initiative satisfied the overall remit of the programme.
Firstly, sites had to demonstrate that their initiative contributed in at least one of these ways:
- making better use of clinicians' time
- reducing demand for consultations in general practice
- reducing workload for members of the general practice team
There followed an in-depth structured telephone interview from which WiPP produced a case study with input from the applicants. The case study was then reviewed by the Steering Group for the Good Practice project and, if accepted, passed for inclusion in the WiPP database of good practice.
