The Primary Care Management Development Programme aimed to develop sound theoretical and practical knowledge of primary care management with regard to:
- improving the quality and safety of patient care
- embedding clinical governance at practice level
- developing capacity
- delivering organisational priorities
- raising the profile of primary care management as a positive career choice
- supporting the development of networks of excellence across primary care
- fostering best practice and leadership development
